Since you’re here, I’m going to guess that you have been on the lookout for an advent calendar that’s a little, well, more – than the average chocolate Christmas calendar. Me, too! So I did the legwork for us both, and spent some serious time digging deep into the recesses of Google, where I found: 20 great advent calendars for grown-ups!
From tea and socks, to makeup and skincare, advent calendars have come a LONG way in 2019. There’s something for everyone. This list also features various price-points, with the highest calendar being $199, and the lowest being $18. Additionally, they are all in CAD – but double check when you checkout just in case I missed anything.
Without further ado, let the list begin!

4. PURDY’S CHOCOLATIER STARRY NIGHT ADVENT CALENDAR

If your skin would use a boost in the colder months (mine definitely can), a beauty calendar might be right for you. This calendar contains 12 days of skincare, perfect for a little holiday rejuvenation.

Potterheads, unite! This is one advent calendar I am seriously considering ordering. With necklaces, earrings, and charms for a bracelet, this advent calendar is utterly swoon-worthy for fans of the Wizarding World.

If experimenting with new makeup is your thing, look no further! The ArtDeco advent calendar contains a wide array of cosmetics to try, and for a very affordable price considering all that you receive with it.
12. KARAT CHOCOLATE, SEASONAL COLLECTION

An Okanagan advent calendar! Karat Chocolate has created a delightful seasonal spread of treats to try this season. This would also make a very beautiful hostess* gift for a gal that appreciates all things Okanagan.

This advent contains 25 The Body Shop favourites, and is a GREAT value! Perfect for you, or as a gift for someone special.
15. THE BODY SHOP ULTIMATE ADVENT CALENDAR
The Body Shop, Dream Big This Christmas Ultimate Advent Calendar, $169
And then we have the BIG version. I advise you treat yourself to this one!

Another great skincare advent calendar on the list. Princess pink themed, this one contains face and under-eye masks for the girl that really likes to feel pampered.
17. FERRERO GOLDEN GALLERY ADVENT CALENDAR 2019

An excellent budget calendar that still feels indulgent. Don’t forget to apply the coupon to save $2.50 when you checkout on Amazon! And if you eat them all by midmonth, I won’t judge.
18. L’OCCITANE SIGNATURE ADVENT CALENDAR

An incredible value with this one! 24 treats for just $59, that works out to roughly $2.50 a day! Containing a wide array of skin and body care, this calendar is perfect for anyone on your list.
19. GERTEX 12 PAIRS OF HOLIDAY SOCKS

Another sock calendar for ladies! 12 holiday themed pairs to keep your feet festive until Christmas.

And last, but certainly not least, is this lovely and nostalgic themed advent calendar. 24 winter scented products to try, including lip balms and hand creams in sugar and pine aromas.
And there you have it! 20 Advent Calendars For Adults this Christmas season. Did you see any that piqued your interest? I think my favourites are Saje, Harry Potter, Karat chocolate, and Lancôme. P.S. I’d also like to give a shout out to a few advent calendars that didn’t make it on the list, but may be of interest if you prefer to drink your advent LOL!
Canadian brand Craft has released a BeerAdvent calendar at a few stores in Kelowna that you can find here, and word on the street is that B.C. brand Nude is releasing an advent calendar, too! You can follow them on Facebook or Instagram to keep an eye out for more details.
New District in Vancouver also has a wine advent calendar available that you can order online, but I didn’t include it because it’s $850.00, and their website is down for maintenance. But the moral of the story is that liquor brands are getting in on the advent calendar game, so if that’s your thing, go see what your local shop may have!
