CHOCOLATE CHIP PECAN COOKIES
Makes an estimated 1doz. cookies

INGREDIENTS
1c. Melted butter
1c. Sugar
3/4c. Brown sugar
3 eggs
2tsp. Vanilla
2 1/2c. Flour
1tsp. Baking soda
1/2tsp. Salt
1c. Chocolate chips
1c. Pecans
METHOD
Preheat oven to 350°. In a large mixing bowl, beat melted butter and sugars together until just blended. Slowly beat in eggs and vanilla until well combined. In a separate mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients, sifting thoroughly. Slowly stir dry ingredients into wet, 1c. at a time, gently stirring throughout. Fold in chocolate chips and pecans. Form into balls and place onto a parchment lined cookie sheet, pressing each ball gently to lightly flatten into a cookie shape. Bake 7-10 minutes, until just beginning to turn a light, golden brown. Serve warm, with preferred milk, or with French vanilla ice cream for an extra decadent treat.
WHITE CHOCOLATE COCOA COOKIES
Makes an estimated 1doz. cookies

INGREDIENTS

1/4c. Cocoa powder
3 eggs
2tsp. Vanilla
2 1/2c. Flour
1tsp. Baking soda
1/2tsp. Salt
1c. White Chocolate chips
METHOD
Preheat oven to 350°. In a large mixing bowl, beat melted butter and sugars together until just blended. Slowly beat in eggs and vanilla until well combined. In a separate mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients, sifting thoroughly. Slowly stir dry ingredients into wet, 1c. at a time, gently stirring throughout. Fold in chocolate chips and pecans. CLASSIC RICE KRISPY SQUARES
Makes 8-20 cereal bars/squares

INGREDIENTS
6 cups Rice Krispy’s cereal
6 cups mini marshmallows
2tbsp. butter
1tsp. butter
2tsp. vanilla extract
1/4c. m&m’s in colours coordinating to your event (optional)
METHOD
Butter a traditional 9×13 casserole dish with the 1tsp. of butter. In a large saucepan, melt butter, marshmallows, and vanilla over low heat, stirring often. Add cereal, and stir well. Pour, and press gently into buttered casserole dish. Sprinkle with m&m’s if desired, cover, and allow to cool. Once cooled, cut into 8-10 bars, or 16-20 mini squares. Serve immediately, or if preparing in advance for a wedding or event, store in a tightly sealed container until ready to serve.

Serve your treats alongside glass milk bottles and an assortment of milks (traditional, chocolate, almond, you get the picture).
