Build a Bohemian Bridal Shower Photo Booth Backdrop

There is something so swoon-worthy about a Boho-themed bridal shower! It will come as no surprise that this classic theme is still one of the top themes brides gravitate towards for their weddings in 2022, and shows no signs of slowing down any time soon! And for good reason; whimsical flower crowns, woven macrame details, lush eucalyptus, and decor in shades of peach and green are a timeless look, and always memorable. If you are interested in throwing a Bohemian themed bridal shower, this step-by-step guide will not only teach you how to build a beautiful backdrop, but also includes links to everything you’ll need to achieve this look!

To build your Bohemian Photo Booth Backdrop, start with the basics: a large hanging backdrop, and plenty of greenery. In this display, we used Weddingstar’s new Macrame Hanging Photo Backdrop, and set of two new Eucalyptus Table Garlands. To ensure the backdrop hangs uniformly (and won’t fall during the festivities!), we hung it from a basic white curtain rod. We used one garland along the top of the rod, and placed one on the floor, woven amongst the other photo booth props. We used a small, white end table to hold the photo booth props, along with a few more decor accents.

Next, we used Weddingstar’s Gold Foil Letter Banner to spell out the phrase, ‘Miss to Mrs’. This is a handy banner kit to have on hand, as it can be used time and again to spell out anything you can think of! Along with the message, we interspersed Weddingstar’s Tissue Tassel Garland. We cut it into two segments to make two smaller banners.

Once we had our wall decorated, we added some extra decor pieces to the base of the display, such as Weddingstar’s Natural Lanterns, Galvanized Market Buckets, some faux banana and monstera leaves, and a sign I sourced from a local home store.
