As you may have guessed it – I’m Jamie. I’m a lifestyle blogger living in the scenic and stunning Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, Canada.
The focus and purpose of my blog is to provide beautiful and attainable inspiration for your home and life, as well as ideas and tutorials for your special occasions and events. My mantra is that no matter what stage of life you’re in, you can (and should!) start living your dreams now.
I started this blog while working a 9-5 retail job (that, to be honest, was just one in a string of jobs that were not fulfilling me creatively), and two years later I’m proud to share that my blog has experienced enough success that it’s now my full-time job. It brings me so much joy to be able to work from home, doing what I love and what brought me to this space in the first place.
As well as writing sponsored posts on my blog, I am a social media influencer, and regularly share sponsored posts and reviews on Instagram and Facebook. I am selective in the brand offers I accept, and love to feature local B.C. and Canadian companies, as well as women-led brands.
As a former foster youth, I often touch on topics such as life after foster care, mental health awareness, women empowerment, equality activism, and much more. Being honest about the tough parts of life while keeping things light-hearted has always been my specialty. I think it’s important to recognize and celebrate our differences.
As far back as I can remember, I always knew decorating, fashion and beauty were career avenues what I wanted to pursue. As a child, I spent countless hours re-arranging my bedroom and exploring my personal style, and always assumed as a given that I would grow up to be an interior decorator or fashion designer. As I mentioned before, time passed, life happened, and I lost sight of what was once so important to me.
I spent many years pining over ‘what could have been’, and finally, in April of 2019, I decided to start this blog. It was the best decision I’ve ever made, and now not a day goes by where I’m not planning new things to share with you, or connecting with you on social media. While decor is what brought me to this space in the first place, I’m now more focused and driven by sharing all aspects of my lifestyle with my followers, including beauty, fashion and product reviews.
When I’m not blogging and writing, I can usually be found browsing local home, skincare and clothing stores, relaxing by the lake with my husband, touring local businesses, or raising a glass with friends on a local patio.
All my life I’ve been told that I have a knack for creating something out of nothing – I’ll let you be the judge of that!

I currently live in Kelowna, B.C., with my husband, Tristan, and I was born and raised just 20 minutes away, in scenic Lake Country. My goal is to one day own a home here, in the place I love so dearly, and continue growing the Jamie Krause Home and Living lifestyle brand for many years to come.
