SUMMER 2020 HOME TOUR

Hi there! Welcome to my little slice of summer paradise!

You’ve probably noticed that I change up my decor every season. I love to decorate my home to reflect the changing weather, and making little changes every few months is a great way to experiment, and find your signature style. If I had to choose, I think summer would be my favourite. It’s the perfect season for extra light and bright decor, and I am such a sucker for all things lake, ocean, and nautical themed.

My version of heaven: a perfect summer day spent at the lake with my favourite people, coming home to a breezy, yet cozy home decorated in summer accents, finished off by climbing into a fresh, white bed, all sunkissed and sleepy. Homemade baja fish tacos & pina coladas optional, but definitely encouraged. That is THE feeling!

There’s a fine line between 20’s nautical decor and 90’s beachy kitsch, and with the help of some blush pink lilacs and gold accents, I think I nailed the elegant nautical theme. I’ll let you be the judge!

Fireplace TV stand: Home Depot. Ours is sold out, but find similar ones here.
