MINIMALIST FLORAL WREATH TUTORIAL

Hello, and welcome to my blog!

Since you’re here, I’m going to take a wild guess that you want to make yourself a whimsical floral wreath? And that’s awesome! Artificial flowers have come a long way baby, and you should definitely embrace decorating with them.

This is the plan for today. And the best part is – you can make this wreath for around $25-$40, depending on the flowers you choose. This one cost me about $35. Most home stores sell wreaths of this quality from $50-$300 (trust me, I’ve done the legwork!), and your wreath will be personalized to your home and your specific style – plus it’ll be one of a kind!

Let’s begin. You will need:

Glue gun

Craft Wire

Diagonal cutting pliers (don’t wreck your craft scissors folks)

A metal ring or embroidery hoop

3-4 stems of artificial flowers of your choice

2-3 stems of artificial greenery of your choice

6-12 inches of ribbon

Once you’ve gathered your materials, get those pliers out, because we are dismantling everything. Cut the stems off of the flowers, remove the leaves from the stems, and cut the greenery apart.

Decide where you want your flowers to sit, and then attach them firmly with the wire.

Cut the stems so the wreath will lie flush to the wall.

Next, prearrange your greenery and leaves. Once you’ve decided where it’s all going, get gluing.

And we’re done like dinner! This wreath took me roughly 25 minutes to make, and that was including photos, and all that other fun behind the scenes stuff. Seriously easy stuff, guys.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, and feel inspired to make your own beautiful wreath! Subscribe to my blog on the right if you’d like email notifications of my future posts, so you don’t miss a thing!

xo,

Jamie
