The following post is in paid partnership with my lovely friends over at Weddingstar Inc.! Weddingstar is a family-owned wedding gift, favour and party supply company founded in Alberta, Canada, that is also available in the United States and Australia. I have been a huge fan and lover of this company for many years and getting to share their products with you in fun and innovative ways is a dream come true. I hope you enjoy the following post!

One of the most fun parts of getting engaged? The the lead up to the big day, of course!
There are so many ways to celebrate your wedding before actually tying the knot, and one of the most classic ways is with a wedding or bridal shower. Gathering up your loved ones for themed games (my favourite is The Panty Game – it’s always such a hit!), prizes, finger food, and cocktails is always a fantastic time.
Speaking of cocktails, here are 3 easy peasy recipes that even the most inexperienced bartender can easily assemble (which means your guests can feel comfortable serving themselves using the directions on the handy printables you’ll also find in this post). Not only do they taste amazing, they are a treat for the eyes and will ‘pop’ in your party photos! Especially when you serve them in Weddingstar’s iconic Vintage Pressed Glass Goblets.

Serving 3 different cocktails is a thoughtful way to cater to every guests tastes, and as a bonus your photos will be extra colourful!

DRINK INGREDIENTS
‘SOMETHING BLUE’ HAWAIIAN
- 1 oz Malibu Rum
- 0.75 oz Blue curaçao
- 3 oz Pineapple juice
- .5 oz Hibiscus syrup
- top with soda
- Lemon peel garnish
ELDERFLOWER COLLINS
- 1 oz Bombay Sapphire Gin
- 3 oz Grapefruit juice
- 0.5 oz Elderflower syrup
- top with soda
- Grapefruit peel garnish
‘JUST PEACHY’ LEMONADE
- 2 oz Stolichnaya Vodka
- 3 oz Peach lemonade
- .5 oz Lavender syrup
- top with soda
- Lemon peel garnish
OPTIONAL
- fresh citrus slices (orange, grapefruit, lemon)
- pineapple wedges
- cucumber slices
- herbs such as rosemary or mint

You can find these spirits at your local liquor store, the juices in your favourite grocery store, and this floral syrup set here.
As a gentle reminder, always make sure everyone has a safe way home and never allow your guests to drink and drive. Designate someone to drive guests home, or pre-arrange ride pickups. And if anyone is pregnant or sober? These cocktails taste just as good non-alcoholic! Leave out the alcohol, and add extra juice and soda.
